About Lab and Field
Lab and Field is an independent, NATA accredited material testing facility servicing the construction and mining industries.
We provide material testing for aggregates, concrete and geotechnical for the civil, construction and resources sectors. We are also NATA accredited to test proppants for the oil and gas sector. Lab and Field can also provide Level 1 Site Supervision on projects and have recently expanded our services to include drilling for soil sampling and logging, percolation tests, environmental soil sampling and ground water wells.

Our service approach is to work closely with the contracting team and site supervisors to assist in the efficient and successful completion of any given project.
In servicing earthwork projects our field technicians undertake preliminary on-site testing to assist in determining whether compaction is achieved prior to taking samples for testing. This methodology reduces the number of site failures and ensures the project proceeds as efficiently as possible whilst providing a high level of confidence to the site supervising staff.
